Te Ao Toi – 2 Day Wānanga, Traditional and Contemporary Māori Artforms
Experience Māori arts in action. This two-day wānanga programme brings together traditional practice and contemporary expression with demonstrations, storytelling, performance, and participation. Māori artists will work in real time, offering insights into the depth, discipline, and the living nature of Te Ao Toi; from raranga, whakairo, and tā moko, to storytelling, the spoken word, and waiata. This is Māori arts in action, a space where process is visible, knowledge is shared, and creative voices are experienced.
