Toi Aro Arts Centre at 3 Market Lane is home to a growing community of artists, creative practitioners, and organisations. Our purpose-designed workspaces support creativity, collaboration, and connection, bringing our Ngā Tūāpapa Taketake, Moemoeā, and Tuakana–Teina kaupapa to life.

We invite applications from arts organisations, and artists residing in the Wellington region. Applications need to align with the Toi Aro Moemoeā (Vision), Tuakana-Teina Kaupapa, and one or more of the focus areas of Council’s Aho Tini 2030 Arts, Culture and Creativity Strategy.

This has information about our Ngā Tuapapa Taketake (foundation baselines), Moemoeā (Vision), Tuakana-Teina Kaupapa, Aho Tini 2030 Strategy, the building, the spaces, rentals, Tuakana and Teina role descriptions, and application information

Review the relevant Licence Agreement to understand the terms and conditions. If successful you will have a chance to carry out due diligence before progressing to signing the agreement.
